MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr. Seth Lucas, DDS
Dr. Lucas was born and raised in the California Central Valley in the agricultural town of Turlock. Dr. Lucas has always loved getting to know individuals, making them laugh, serving them, and ultimately just making people smile.
Education & Associations:
At Brigham Young University, Dr. Lucas earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He attended dental school at the distinguished University of California San Francisco where he served as class president and was in the top 1 percentile in the country on the National Dental Board Exam. He was also awarded the Outstanding Peer award for his class, the only graduation award that is voted on entirely by those that knew him best, his classmates. After receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS), he remained at UCSF to complete a 3-year specialty training residency in orthodontics as well as a Masters degree in Orofacial Sciences. Treating some of the most complex orthodontic cases in the Bay Area, he was motivated by the way orthodontics could truly transform a person’s self-confidence.
Dr. Lucas as well is ABO Certified and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).
Family & Personal Life:
Dr. Lucas and his wife have four little ones: Logan, Ava, Zoe and Rhett. When not at the office, Dr. Lucas is usually telling dad-jokes, picking up their toys or laughing at their silly personalities.
His hobbies include: Running, fishing, biking, scuba diving, hanging out with friends & family, and spending time outdoors. He now currently participates in ultra-marathon races each year.
